Pretty sure they sold a lot of Daemon Princes though.
The last thing I'm hoping for is for Carnos or Troglodons to become must-haves, that is a damned expensive kit.
At the same time, I'm trying to maintain an open mind about every possible unit until we at least have the book. When the last edition of our book came out, there were throngs of people lining up on these forums to declare that the new Salamanders were completely nerfed and worthless, and that the Lizardmen were finished as an army because the Slann was completely neutered. I'm sure I'll have to be one of the voices of reason all over again, because some people just can't put their emotional selves in a rational mindstate to fairly evaluate the new army and how it plays.
I am with you, we jut have to learn how to play our new army! I like what i am seeing so far! Pf, an extra lore for the slann ( a very good lore ), an extra lore for skinks possibly two for high skinks, 3 new monsters ( even if they are not as competitive at least they are there versatility is always good), new unit of flyers, Skaly skin for skinks
I think the game should be balanced alright! But one of the coolest things about warhammer is the back story! I like armies being different and having diferent strengths and weaknesses! Thats the hole point of having some armies having to pay more than others for the exact same magic item. The game is not supposed to be perfectly balanced if it was they wouldn't do that with the magic items for example.
Ultimately the game is supposed to be fun! sportsmanship is accounted for in the tournaments after all isn't it?
