Alas, I feel you are correct. A man can dream though. My Warhammer collection is largely complete, with the exception of the War Mammoth. It would be an auto purchase for me!

That is a very good suggestion, and one I should have expected coming from you . It isn't entirely unfeasible given how much GW love massive expensive plastic monster kits now, and it would be great to see such a fan favourite appear as their centrepiece monster. That's a WoC release I would certainly respect.

At least it's not elves, or yet more undead.

Plus, WoC doesn't actually have that much. They actually have weirdly few proper units, most of it is warcry stuff. So in that sense it doesn't need to be that terrible.
