AoS Age of Sigmar Rumours - Mk II. (Our new name)

It seems to be summoning new units
Think of it like so, You bring your units and their corresponding warscrolls, During setup you place down the warscrolls for the battle think of it as your list. You can deploy as many of these units as you like. Those you do not deploy are in your reserves. Because you have the warscroll as part of your "List" your Slann now knows that spell and can summon the unit from your reserves during the battle.
Most importantly to summon 10 whatevers you have-to-have 10 whatevers...?
Is that specified someplace?

nice rules for our army IMO: Kroak sounds funny aswell as the battle standard, saurus warriors, temple guards, chamos, flyers, kroxigors, EotG, basties, trogs and even swarms. I like skink priests aswell, because their abilities are actually not magic (yeah, i don't like magic rules at all). I'm not sure regarding salamanders and i don't like very much the protection rules for TGs. And i don't like Tetto'Eko's rules, he's one of my favourite characters....
Anyway, i think our rules are quite representative, too bad that the core rules are so poor. Also no new units for us unless they add pages LOL

The Grail Vow: You can re-roll all failed hit rolls for this unit if, before rolling the dice, you hold aloft a grail or goblet and shout ‘For the Lady’ in a heroic voice.

Ugh. *facepalm*

I'm a member of a big WHF group on Facebook and it's imo sickening to see how people have turned around and are now "derp just have fun mate, why so serious?" and if you try to explain your frustration they'll bombard you with memes and tell you to get back to your basement.

Right.. So balance, how does it work? It doesn't because it's not there. But just have fun I was told. Right, I'm sure no TK player ever got tired of listening to that line.

It's close to impossible to balance sh1t because if you go by wounds the better models will win. So how does one go on to say "you can bring 3 goblins for every warriors of chaos" because there's no way to agree on that for every single rule. Besides you'd have to do this every single time. Either that or use the old point system, which may or may not hold up. I'm guessing it doesn't - just look at dat troglodon. Or how about the now clearly superior saurus warriors compared to the previous ones.

Balance aside.. Of course, the game is meant to be about having fun, but are we not at war here? Rules like if you can recite the spell name backwards without looking, insulting your opponent and having them not laugh/bite, guessing which hand the dice is in??

It is all starting to feel like quiz night, not a war game..

EDIT : Yes, still many rules to read through, just looking at some special spells etc, I can't work it out. Did the end times happen, and the world was thrown into perpetual April Fools day?

"The Endless Dance: If you are dancing while rolling the dice for the Masque’s attacks in the combat phase, you can reroll any failed hit rolls. If, at any point, you can coerce your opponent to join in, you can re-roll any failed wound rolls as well."

Well, if I must...

Sqwuak hiss.......

Google Translate: "It seems to me like someone with poort wits decided to steal ideas from Munchkin".

One thing clear: it has essentially become reroll the game. I'm sure there are more than one reroll rule for even regular saurus warriors, or maybe just one and +1 To Hit rule.
It's almost as if every time they needed to add something to s unit they decided it should be some sort of reroll. Sure there's no ASF anymore, now it's just everybody and their mother.

What really baffle me is.. Okay, alright so this is supposed to be easy and for everybody BUT would it have been to terrible at to assign points to what have been presented? People know math, right.m right guys?

Whoa, Gor-Rok, you da man! If I did understand it correctly, he has a potential of dealing 45+ wounds in a single go. 5 attacks, every 6 gives d3 wound rolls, every 6 for wounding causes d3 wounds.

I don't know why they decided to add Daemon to our keywords, but at least Slann's ability makes us less likely to break, while making it easier for Chaos Daemons.

First I though those wacky special conditions were hilarious, but if every army has them, and in multitudes, it gets old real quick.

I'm loving how skinks have 10 bravery (Ld?) and a high elf spearman have 6 XD

Why do I keep missing out on so much? I need to go closer to a Solar Engine Bastiladon. I only check the internet this morning and saw changes to the warhammer fantasy side. I really can't keep up and saw new things on here. Need to go and re-read some more.
Seems like old models are compatible, my boyfriend is such a pickle sometimes >.<

Am I right in thinking that the Scar-Vet and Carnosaur has 23 attacks in melee?

But I think we did lose the roll three dice and discard the highest when checking fer skeddaddle?

We did, but that's still not entirely the same. Seems odd haha

Basically it seems we have become daemons of Order with the daemon keyword and all this summoning...

Ah, maybe not. The description is telling you to pick one of the three Celestite weapons. That took a lot of working out!

Sqwuaaaaaaaark hiiiiiiiiis!

Google Translate: " well the rules state 'Each model in the unit attacks with all of the melee weapons it is armed with (see Attacking).'

so yes 23 attacks when at full health...

*HIIISSS SQUAARK!!*

Google Translate: "not too sorry about that actually. Seems appropriate. Im just tired that I have to rely on summoning from now on."
