The never-ending battle against woke Hollywood and SJW infused entertainment media [trigger warning]

Well the supreme court woke up today and chose violence and turmoil from thier available option cards

Amber Heard fired her PR team because she was tired of seeing the constantly negative headlines.

I imagine they reacted something like this.

I am hard pressed to think of a worse job than being on Amber Heard's PR team.

I mean being the attack target for training police dogs would be unpleasantly, but at least you get to wear a padded suit.

I have a friend who is a sewer technician. He has protective gear, good pay, and flexible hours.

Not exactly fitting with the thread's theme of Hollywood or entertainment wokeness. "Hardcore politics" are probably best discussed in your Current events general chat or in a new thread... at least for now. I have no doubt this will seep into Hollywood wokeness pretty quickly, at which point it will be relevant here.

My apologies, oh overlord.

Did you hear about how ordinary people were very chalant about what a minor amount of rich people wore to a party at an art museum?

This Simpsons clip was made very long ago. For context, this is a space alien impersonating Bob Dole and the space alien is trying to guess what Americans want to hear.

As someone who has been married, the practice is highly over-rated unless you have lived with the person for years, and know if you can live with the other person in a long term situation.

Furthermore, the tax benefits are sometimes meh depending on your situation, and Divorce is a hassle.

And a wedding/reception is just a big old money sink. I'm of the opinion now that walking into the court house, going home and holding a house party would be a better option.

As said, it helps if you know the person you are committing to, and that you can live with each other.

As to Johhny/Amber......I'm on Johnny's side based on what I've read.
