GW News: LAS VEGAS OPEN 2025

According to GW the next Xenos Codices will be in early 2021 due to their Imperium and Chaos obsession taking up all the remaining Codex slots for this year, but I wouldn’t worry about it if I were you. GW have always been kind to Tau so Plastic Farsight will probably come round when the next Tau codex does.

I’m still waiting for Tyranids to take the meta by storm...
Yeah, out of Imperium versus Chaos, Tau are the faction that got most love the last decade (those new Stormsurge and XV8 Commanders, praise The Greater Good).

Still, plastic Banshees, Incubi, and the absolute load of Necron new toys, I hope I get that plastic Farsight sooner than later.

Looking at Necrons, I can safely say that:
  1. The New "mancers" came from Transformers Animated.
  2. Flayed Ones look extremely non-threatening.
And going back to Lumineth, I admit I have an extremely hard time choosing which color scheme I like the most: Ymetrica variant, Iliatha or Zaitrec.

I'm in the US, so in-country shipping isn't usually that much. Shipping from the UK varies, sometimes it's very reasonable and sometimes it's not worth it, although I've gotten some nice deals where the model+high shipping was still worth it due to getting such a good deal. Checking regularly is the key :)

True, but if you hunt long enough, you can nab a really good deal even when factoring in shipping.
depends a lot where you're ordering from, certain places simply have no sellers on there at which point you'l always have to deal with international shipping which sucks for large packages.

Of course there's local variants of ebay as well, but the communities tend to be smaller so usually it doesn't work well either.

Fair enough. I usually order from Canada, US and the UK. However, on occasion I have found truly exceptional deals from elsewhere around the world that were worth it even factoring in shipping. However as you said, if someone lives somewhere truly remote and far off, Ebay might not be a good option.

Megargants are here and they are indeed absolute units on a base of 13 cm. Funnily enough, the three stooges are only available to Destruction armies and one specific at a time:
  • Warstomper: Chaos anti-infantry.
  • Kraken-Eater: Order anti-monsters.
  • Gatebreaker: Death siege.
4 sprues, 129 pieces, and 35 wounds. This guys are expensive, but the quantity and quality of joy they bring with the bits is just as massive as they.

Also, ye olde Giants now come in pairs, just like they used to do back when the allies/mercenaries were introduced way back then, so the individual price has lowered..

The price is a little much when the mantix giant us just as tall

There was a discussion going on another thread.
My (strictly personal) impression, is that they are going to annihilate the casual games.
There's a difference between casual lists and competitive / tournaments lists. A Casual Skaven list is different from a competitive one... but for Gargants there will be very (in not) difference between the two.
So, competitive lists will be able to manage an army with single 35 wounds models, but casual lists ("I've got 2 Start Collecting boxes, what list do you recommend to start playing?") will be roftlstomped.

While the Mantic giant does look really cool, I'm not a fan of how stiff they look. Maybe is the paintjob? Also, the Megas are just so dynamic looking to me.

No way I'm gonna buy them unless they make them a bundle with actual savings like Imperial Knights: Renegade.

Would have liked to readed it.

But yes, I can clearly see why they would be a problem, but we all know that only Those Guys do such dick moves. 59 to 71 wounds in a 1000 demo is just gross and playing it seriously tells us you had problems in your chilidhood.

I could see the value of them in demos, though: maybe a 2 versus 1 would make for a really engaging experience for two new players. Personally I'd love that.

Also, I can't wait for the SoBs to get a Battleforce: one Mega and one Mancrusher. That an an Imperial Knights with one Knight and one Armiger would make for the most hilarious things GW has ever make.

I have to say, the GW ones look better though.

The discussion starts somewhere halfway down this page.

Didn't they do one for the knights with 2 armigers and 1 proper knight?
