Tutorial Seraphon List for Battletome 2.o

lizard wizard is the one on the left print it out cut him out and stick it to the front of your relm shaper

I don't think paper will look good on that model, I was thinking more of a conversion! But I could really get inspired of this, I could try to imitate the pose of that Saurus and also the Skink why not

the one on the left should be a krox but if you can model mini microphones then i want to see that when you are done

What do you guys think Meeting Engagement list would look like? Is there any place for Saurus Guards? They've been nerfed into oblivion, but I think for that price they could perform well in low point formats. SW are now look a lot better. 20 models with clubs(under buffs from heroes) are kinda scary in such format.
I even have that weird idea of taking Slann with block of 20 SG(not in ME though, they only allow x2 wascroll size). SG in front, Slann behind, attacking with his 3" lightning, casting magic and supporting SG, skinks shooting from behind with Starpriest buff.

the slann block is really funny but i would use kroak for it he does better in melee and his 4+ aftersave helps out a lot when attacks sneak past the guard

I think Saurus Guard Koatl's Claw will be the way to go. Starseer will also help your late arrivals make it into the fray. As soon as I finish a list for each subfaction I will start theorycrafting ME.

Knights and Kroak!

Put Kroak on the BwV with an Astrolith. Then vector with a forward Skink Wizard/Priest and splash MWs across the enemy.

Buff 1 unit of knights at a time and then into the fray.

List can be modified to include a large block of Saurus Warrior by switching to a ScV on Co and dropping two units of Knights down to 5.

I think you’re missing some points here. They dont count up to 1980 but to 1860. Maybe add a Starpriest and make the balewind Bound (or not for the chance at a nice triumph).

I made the same list, but with an starpriest. My second version drops the AB and balewind but adds a block of 20 warriors. What do you think of kroak without AB and balewind? Does he need that range? Could use him as CP farm and nice buffing magic. For MW spam you need the range of course. But also without some SG, he might get sniped. If I look at both list, I think the most competitive is with kroak as MW spam (incl AB and balewind) in a Realmshaper, since Firelances misses highrend/MW and ranged.

Good catch. I had bad math. I think I left out the Starpriest. It would explain why I was 120 under what I thought I was. LoL.

Not sure about running Kroak without the BwV or Ab though. 22" is much more effective than 10".

Would you say that lord Kroak needs BwV or Astrolith to be used to his maximum potential? I’m curious as my list is running a lord Kroak to use his mortal wounds and get cp. I guess without those who supports I could move him up closer to the central command group to make up for the lack of range

I would at minimum take a BwV. They are only 40 points and give a huge buff to the caster.

So what should I drop for Baldwin’s vortex? I don’t have 3 scar veterans, so I maybe I could swap a starpriest for a regular priest?

Regular priest is only worth running if you have Skinks. Characters are pretty much broken in to three support groups now.

Saurus heroes buff Saursus Units
Skink heroes buff Skink units
Wizards buff Seraphon

Starpriest, Starseer, Slaan, and Astrolith (not a wizard, but buffs wizards so close enough) can go in any list. The other heroes you only want if your battleline is going to benefit from their buffs.

Is anyone having any luck building a low drop list? Feels like you need to somewhat manage your drops to be on the upper end of competitive, and all those good buffing characters just send your drops through the roof.

having high drops is also good. It wont let you go first but you can better place your important characters or units. If you know enemy you can counter him. You can always place your units so bad that enemy will let you go first (especialy playing with run/shoot/charge abilities). And alsh chance for duble turn. But this is my opinion

Definitely, there's just so much shooting alpha strike right now and we have so many squishy buff characters it'll be something we'll have to keep in mind.
