Congratulations! I can't fault you wanting to fix it yourself. I have a monthly routine now of pouring a five gallon bucket into each side of my sink to help force down the debris. My family aren't conscientious of what they put down the drain, at least I got them to stop with liquid greases. If it slows at all I try to get the vinegar/baking soda as soon as possible. We'll it's fixed so go treat yourself to some gaming, you've earned it.Rejoice, for the bottle of Drano Max cleared the kitchen drain! Had to leave it sitting in there for 45 minutes, which is about 15 minutes longer than the bottle said it should, but at least I don't have to take the drain apart! HUZZAH!(also, is it sad that right now, this is what I wanted most for my birthday?)
