My local GW are doing a campaign soon and part of me wants to take part but can't for a few reasons. Yet part of me screams I can finally play a game without that toxic player I know of (he gave up on the Warhammer hobby )

Always good to be able to get rid of some bad vibes, especially in a game like Warhammer where you're gonna be together for several hours.

Glad he has left, can get more fun games without the whine and the stare of disappointment.

Back to the campaign talk, problem is I am out of date, need the new rulebook and the Thondia book, well it doesn't start till the 11th but I don't like the idea of being slow as I try to work the book out, which is a huge weakness of mine. Finding the right page for army abilities and everything.
Haven't played a game in a few years but Store manager is happy to do a game whenever.

Last night, I finished one of the Krushas and got the basecoats done on the other two. Now it's time to reset a couple things and decide what my major project for the next year will be. I'm kind of leaning towards doing Ironjawz, but we'll see.

Did the final white basecoat on 1 1/2 Fireborn.

1 1/2 left to go...

(God this is annoying. Mental note: always check what you need the major basecoat color to be before spray painting. This would have been a lot easier if I'd spray painted white instead of black... )

My finished Goblin Blood Bowl team : "The Checkered Past" My two trolls are not quite identical but almost....so to add some difference I figured the goblins got tired of painting checks on this ones shoulder pad and instead resorted to a few games of noughts and crosses.....

These guys all look incredible! The second troll's shoulder pad adds so much character to the whole team. Really smart idea!

Speaking of Blood Bowl, had my first Tier 3 only game last night between halflings and Norse. Like a pool noodle joust between two drunken toddlers, it was incredibly entertaining to play. Even managed to score a couple of touchdowns by yeeting my catchers.

I'll be doing my best to pick up the pirate-themed models from Punga Miniatures at some point, likely in STL format to print.

Apart from that, my FW order for two sets of carapace weapons for my AT warlord titans also showed up. Twin gatling blasters and twin Vulcan mega-bolters, specifically.
