Had a big spend-up indulging in many of my hobbies at one of my favourite towns in my home country, and as part of it I managed to nab a Royal Warden for my Necrons at the bargain price of £5, and found some Mordor Orc Commanders for Middle Earth that are otherwise website exclusive:


I also bought some trucks and carriages for an N-Gauge model railway layout I recently inherited from a great-uncle of mine and a metal figure of a Celtic Chieftain, for those who are interested.

Finished my Lore of Magic exercise being run by @NIGHTBRINGER

Started on my short story entry.

Started changing my Bull Centaurs onto the right size bases.

Wrote up a 2000pt Zone Mortalis list for my Salamanders in Horus Heresy.

Should be interesting, given the limitations imposed:
- no models with bases larger than 60mm;
- no flyers or flying monstrous creatures;
- no dedicated transports;
- no vehicles other than walkers (apart from those less than 4" wide); and
- no units larger than 15 models before attached characters.

Oh, and half of the units start the game in reserve.

I believe I was on cold caffeine (zero sugar soda) at that point. I'm pretty much positive I have undiagnosed ADD, because caffeine does not make me hyperactive. it just prolongs the time before the inevitable "Thud".
