You're totaly right, that would have been worse.

Today I based my Dryads and Branchwitch, letting the glue dry before taking pictures.

Built the last three Primarus Marines from the 8th ed. Starter Set last night.
 
Went to the art shop today to pick up some texture paint, was hoping to get some sand one ready for when I finally get around to do the Tyranids. But they didn't had any in stock but was shown some different paint with sand in. Got that instead cause comparing the prices, it was £11 and to buy the one from GW would end costing £42 to get roughly the same amount. One downfall is that I am stuck fully painting the bases now as the paint is white. There is about 40 Termas and 40 Hormas when I last checked.
 
Had some hobby time last night and this morning. Finished my first 40k building and got most of the work done on a second. I need to dry brush the sand and paint the building, but it's almost done.

Today I primed minis. 2 Hell Pit Abominations, one Brass Scorpion (defiler) conversion, and my Well-durr & Orkville "Big Mek" conversion now have primer. Yay.
 
Today I got more work done on terrain. I finished half of the second ruined building and started on the second half. I also clipped out the rest of the pieces of my Warcry terrain set. A picture of the half finished building will be on my painting blog.

Cleaning my workdesk for the first time in... well... actually I do this a lot, I just get distracted halfway through and have to do it over every few weeks.

After that, I sorted through old orruk minis to start my basic Big Waaagh army. I spent a week contemplating new armies, thinking about Dispossessed (decided no because most of what I liked about the old dwarf army is gone), the Lumineth (which I would do except I don't like any of the Hero options for that army), and pretty much every other newish army in the list. Then I found a shiny thing on ebay that I've been wanting for a while. It will arrive next week, and shall form the centerpiece for my mixed Big Waagh! army. In the meantime, Bonesplittaz Boar Boyz are being worked on...
 
Yesterday I went over to Hobby Lobby and bought a new bottle of Charcoal grey paint for my buildings. I was running low. I also primed my Warcry terrain and a set of Ryza ruins I remembered I had picked up with the Genestealer Cult Killteam box.
