What are you doing today hobbywise?

Going to work on the marines on my desk and finish a basing order
 
Got some Fiends of Slaanesh built a few days ago, need to sit down and paint at one point. Got some miniatures to finish painting on my desk, so hopefully when the weather gets a bit better and I get some other things out of the way first.
Might also start some plans/ideas for Armies on Parade for October, apparently I need to be much more earlier than excepted. Last time I had problems finishing so hopefully this year will be the year.
 
Played my first game of Blood Bowl yesterday.
Interesting game. I shared the box with my buddy, I'll paint the human team while he does the Orcs.

If I like the game I will probably build an undead and/or Lizardmen team.

When I play my first Blood bowl game nearly all my Skaven died from their injuries... Dice gods were not with me that day.



Meanwhile I'm doing some miniature dig around for my Werewolf cultists project, already have some Fenrisian Wolves and Skin Wolves.
Saw these heads Forgeworld have on Preorder, might get these when I do another Forgeworld order

It's mostly picking out some human units, do have some picked out.
Before I do the buying I want to make sure I get a lot more built, so many boxes. I can hear the distant cries about me having so many projects, that's just how my brain works. First I want to aim with getting stuff built, getting the Troggoths and 2 kits for the Rourvuk Frozen Queen. Then the Werewolf Cultists, just not in the mood for painting but when I do eventually, it's finishing the dragon and converted undead horse. Also basing the bird flocks.

This werewolf cultists idea’s a new development - is this for AoS? If so, which Grand Alliance?

And those new heads going on pre-order are Cawdor heads from Necromunda - the plastic kit also has a good few that may look good on these new cultists!

Also, might I suggest using the old Empire flagellant models for the bodies?

It's a juggle between Chaos or Death, then Skin wolves are a Chaos unit but Death feels fitting then similar for Chaos really. I personally can't see them fitting into 40k.
Looking at their plastic kit, they have some interesting weapons also.
Flagellants are a great choice, I'm going to be picking up some of those Electro-Priests from 40k also, just clipping off the tech parts and replacing their weapons.
I remember having some Wulfen spares, so will have to check what there is.
Feels like I want to pick up some bats/vampires also because the classic Vampires vs Werewolves theme. Good thing I already have a few, just missing some bats.

God, I did it a couple of months ago and it felt like it took me ages. I was very scared to ruin details on Slann and Kroak; did not care much about Razordons as they look pretty meh.

I don't like scaring people, but there was a ugly bit of stupid resin which became evident only at the very end if the painting of the Palanquin. And I also lost some of the detail. Razordons came out good.
 
Put in a Forgeworld order to get started on a Salamanders army for 30k. With any luck, I'll be able to adapt the army for 40k play as well.
 
Not allowed any of the new Troggoths until I get more built :( That's what my mum said, once I get a lot of the pile done I can go and get the Troggoths.
Yesterday I've got Ghorros, a Beastmen Standard Bearer, Khalida and Morathi's mount built. Still need to glue Ghorros to his base but so much weight as he is rearing up, might have to pin.
Got to sort through the boxes as I think some mostly have spares that I can't fit in the spares box. Also to find the Cockatrice as that was also planned yesterday but I couldn't find the kit.
