What are you doing today hobbywise?

Built the Lion Chariot, well keeping separate for painting purpose. Will sit down one day and prime plenty of models, well trying to make sure I keep up with the challenge. Also got some ideas for Armies on Parade, again. Will be sitting down and having a good think, the other idea is a mixed Aelves army, based off the colour scheme of my first painted model, the Black Dragon with a molten looking theme. Would make some nice fiery lions and such, my thoughts go on.
 
Yesterday i took a day off from work to hobby-around.
The day before i rang up the GW-store nearby to see if i could come in and play a game, my first, of Age of Sigmar.

The store opened at 12am, so i started out in the MacDonalds 2 blocks away to paint in peace and quiet ;)
After 12am i headed to the store, after some painting it was time to set up my army, 1000pts Seraphon.

Sadly due to the holidays this week there where a lot of new-to-the-hobby people walking in and out of the store.
The Store-manager, being the only one around, could not get the time to play our battle, so i got to help him out with promoting the game ;)

The battle had to be postponed to an other day.
I got to paint all the gold items on my Saurus Warriors Unit

Finished building yet another Deimos-pattern rhino for my Salamanders, bringing me to a total of 4 built thus far. Now onto a herald/ancient and another 10-man Mk III tactical squad.

All I can think of is Valstrax's theme from Monster Hunter, mostly because of the Celestant-Prime. Jet wings!
Also who is that lurking in the back? Doesn't look like Nagash

planned my upcoming week of applications and painting.

Got some inspiration to paint some undead.
 
Finished building a 3rd Mk III tactical squad for my Salamanders army before running off to play a 2v2 Horus Heresy game at 2500pts. I did quite well against a World Eaters army while my Space Wolves ally made more than a few tactical blunders against some Word Bearers.
 
Today I am gonna finish painting a big Spider...
 
Waiting on the weather to improve a bit so I can spray some models, also thinking whether I should pick up the Furies, I like the models and they have got the updated Warcry versions coming and I'm a bit worried that the old ones will be removed
 
Editing a Lion Chariot image to test out a colour scheme at the moment, it's mostly the chariot I want to work out itself. I will be sitting there for ages wasting paint if I can't settle on a good colour. Of course it won't look exactly like the edited image because replicating colours but it will look roughly the same

On Tuesday, I finally finished building the quad-lascannon side sponsons for my fellglaive, having to use a couple of hot water baths to warp some power conduit pieces sufficiently enough for placement (as an electrician, the irony is not lost on me). I also almost finished building the rapier platforms save for some control consoles, which I added the following evening.

Due to being nearly out of super glue, I was only able to get one rapier crew built before calling it quits, instead focusing on getting as many of the vehicles in my Salamanders army primed and pre-shaded for a full day of airbrushing closer towards the weekend. As of this post, I still need to make filler track segments for my land raider proteus out of plasticard as well.

All of this is concurrent to me preparing for a busy 2-week sail that starts next week.

I yielded! after roaming around the web eyeballing all Sylvaneth boxes. I found a Startersbox Sylvaneth for a good price.
Knowing that the Looncurse fraction of Sylvaneth will be found on ebay verry soon ;)

So the pile of unopened boxes grows taller :angelic:
