I had an outhouse piece of terrain somewhat similar. Whenever it was in play and we rolled to see what the terrain was, it was always the Wyrding Well. More than one Skink priest has drank from that Wyrding Well.
 
Been building some miniatures, waiting on a replacement paint rack so I can arrange my dropper bottles, have this weird mind set that I won't paint till everything is organised and tidy, which the table is covered in built models I have to put somewhere.

Was in the art shop yesterday and found out the amazing thing that they do payment plans that are flexible, as I was talking to them about airbrushes because I was still uncertain cause internet gives various answers to things so I went to them as one of their workers works with models and miniatures. Got all my questions answered and now it's just putting some money by to start the payment plan. They even offered a tutorial session so I can learn to use it.
Now even with all questions answered, my dad still denies me getting one because of mess and will I use it enough cause he thinks they are not worth it.
Well found out the guy actually airbrushes in his living room, and they don't spray out like the spray cans, which I thought exactly.
I sat down last night and went through all the models that will benefit from the airbrush. Anything that needs priming during the wet and cold days, larger builds like the Dread Saurian, also getting a poseable Trex model in so that will benefit (1/35 scale).
Currently trying to add to the list of uses. The airbrush might even save my hand as having to get into the grooves of models is a pain. Brushbrushbrushbrush
 
My father-in-law roped me into playing Crusader Kings III with him... not that it takes a lot to do that... and I have been toying with starting some kind of human-centric "kingdom" army for if/when The Old World comes out. Just... until there is an armylist, I don't know what I can field or make :D
 
I re-converted custom my Dark Angels Talonmaster, as it would not be accepted in tournaments were i was going. Am pretty happy with the result.
 
Took some time out of a surprise duty watch to build some thunderbolt fighters for Aeronautica Imperialis.

I was also tinkering around with alternative army lists for my HH Salamanders, which is now going to include 10 missile launchers and 10 flamethrower-wielding Pyroclasts.

what duty post were/are you fufilling?

Today, as within the last two hours, I've desupported a scar veteran to lead the first cohort of 10mm saurus infantry.

I've decided the 10mm army is going to be called the Legion of Chotec. I wish we had more US members, as I'd be willing to cut a deal for forum members on the printing cost of these. I'd love to see more 10mm lizardmen armies.

Machinery control watchkeeping on a naval vessel (I'm in Engineering). Having done this more than a few times, I can attest that quiet after-work hours in the MCR (Machinery Control Room) tend to be a good time to work on hobby stuff, so long as it doesn't get in the way of responding to alarms or interfere with other concurrent activities as required.

On top of the issue of transport (I walk to work most days while alongside), this is the main reason why I'll rarely ever bring in more complicated models to pass the time building (I think the last one was an Adeptus Titanicus Warlord titan that I finished building over two years ago - the same one that I recently finished painting in Astorum colours in fact).
