Perhaps, but the Tyranid will eat me after he defended me I guess...

Grrr, !mrahil

Damn, I get Celestine. I'm stuffed.

But then nobody who wasn't born in May, June or November (or perhaps April, given Lelith is OP in lore) has much of a chance here, unless Angron has a secret fear of rocks, weird fish things with flutes or squirrels.

That's my protector... not that the NIGHTBRINGER needs any protection from Angron. :D

I doubt that the 3rd Edition rules for the Nightbringer would be able to take on Angron in 9th Edition, but you do have Lelith on your side so that's an extra bit of punch (though not as helpful as the full-on might of Girlyman, Magnus or The Swarmlord - one hit from Angron and Lelith would snuff it, it's just being able to catch her and hit her that's the difficult part, along with weathering her storm of paper cuts).

(not shard of the nightbringer)

You can't be a full representation of the Nightbringer deity, because why would the full Nightbringer deity be typing responses on an online forum when he would have annihilated this whole planet in a shroud of darkness and sent his Terminators to clean up already? You must be a Shard, one small part of a greater whole :p

I was referencing the lore. Obviously rules separated by so much time would be completely incompatible. Even so, the rules for the C'tan are for essentially avatars of their true self. The codex even describes that should they be destroyed in battle, they simply reform in a Necron tomb. They are immense beings that simply clad themselves in a Necrodermis to bind their essence when they walk among mortals.

Angron is just a genetically modified being, the NIGHTBRINGER is a literal star god. If you put Angron on/in a star he would be vaporized, while for a C'tan, a star is simply a delicious meal.

No contest.

Because he chooses to.
