Time for a new Scum and Villainy!

Upon reminiscing on past events (OOC: rereading the thread :P ) I have a new hunch...

However benign this looks, Baron (von?) Hunted was the only one of us to speak of KroxigorFTW before the poor man's demise... so I offer this evidence to my comrades to speculate on.

It seems public opinion is shifting toward executing Lizardninja, which may or may not be wise, I cannot tell yet... but as for me vote: Hunted
 
It seems that I am suspected now.
But let me defend myself against this accusation;
It was an Out Of Character comment.

Since this is an RPG, I believe you can only mark/kill/vote In Character. In fact, you can only do actions when In Character.
I found that comment so funny, that it made it into my Sig (look down!).

- But first time being about fighting undead however and the latter seems aimed at our deceased guest, KroxigorsFTW. I remain neutral, but I'll keep my eye on you for metal.

Hellbreaker turns around, mutters a few words and walks off toward his room, speaking silent incomprehensible words.
 
It is now mid afternoon, the lords seem far from agreeing on a suspect this day and the guards are all dispatched hunting undead.

The castle heralds have done a quick head count. There are meant to be 9 lords here though only 8 (Benjiac) seem to be present in the hall. We cannot assume him dead today, thus 5 votes will be needed for a majority. As it stands;

lizardninja: 3 votes
The Hunted: 1 vote

No majority yet, and the sun is setting on the horizon quickly. Let the discussions continue, and let us pray that the murder was an isolated incident and all shall be well in the morning.

OOC: ~ 12 hours from this post until next day.
 
As the final votes are counted, an extra one is found! lizatrdninja rises to 4 votes due to some unexplainable force. The extra voting power has come from The Hunted. (Remember, the assassin can choose whoever they want at the start of each day and that person gets 2 votes.)
It is still not enough to bring a clear majority, thus the lords retire. lizardninja safe for now, but feeling none too confident about how the other lords feel about him.

Moments before the lords reitre, a shimmer comes over hellbreaker, glows for some moments, then shatters. It appears their is a witch doctor among the lords, and yesterday he chose to bless and protect hellbreaker. All the lords silently hope for a similar blessing tonight.

As The Hunted retires, he finds himself feeling rather ill, and suspects it is not just from the alcohol. He has been struck by a fast acting disease! Too weak to even move from his room, he lies awake waiting for death to take him. Out of the corner of his eye, The Hunted notices a shadowy figure slip through his doorway, covered in robes with a hood covering his face, the assassin doesn't realise his target is even still awake until he gets close. As he slits The Hunted's throat, intoxicated and diseased blood spews forth toward his face, ailing him with the same deadly disease.

Stumbling through the hallways delirious from the disease, crimsontide runs into the missing Benjiac. In the state of delirium, he decides it must be Benjiac's fault for the disease as he wasn't around to kill instead of The Hunted, so he leaves a bleeding corpse in the hallway.

Morning breaks to very somber faces on Day 3, as much blood has been spilled. The clear presence of an assassin as evidenced by the eventful night forces the keep into lockdown, leaving half the garrison outside still on patrol but left to their own devices. The keep shall remain in lockdown thus the undead threat will be ignored until all the assassins are found!

This is getting out of control we must search and find this assassin. So Aranigej, who do you think is the assassin.

The account of this night's affairs seem to point to crimsontide being the one to spill the Hunted's blood, but I don't really want to simply put my trust in a first impression. :shifty:

Also, what hath become of Lord Craken? He has not spoken for quite a while...

OOC: Here I am a bit confused though... is crimsontide still alive? Strew did not say he died, but he wrote his name in red on the list of the dead/survivors...
 
Yes? I am here. *Craken comes into the main hall where the rest are* I told you all I was retiring to my room, till I got some news. But I see no change, in fact things have become worse. Two people became infected with disease is that true?

Things are worse then when I left to my room. Hmm maybe I will stay guard tonight to be sure that no one is up to mischief, or maybe I should just pray in my room. *Craken moves his back against the wall, then leans forward on his maul."
 
Sorry if it wasn't clear, yeah both the assassin (crimsontide) and disease (hah you almost thought I was going to tell you didn't you?) targetted the same person, thus as I mentioned in the first post the target is killed twice and crimsontide contracts the same disease thus dies before morning, which it is now.

OOC: Tomorrow (real time) is the next day again, there has been very little activity. I guess people get busy on the weekend. Since not much has happened I'm going to extend it by a day to wednesday midday +9.5 GMT, also because I am rather sick at the moment. Remember, there are always clues in posts.
 
It's not Ironic! Do you know what this means? It means the assassins aren't working with one another!

...but that means that multiple factions have a hand in this...but...who?

Still somewhat baffled by the mass of death from last night Hellbreaker sits down on a wooden chair, making sure everyone can hear him.
- My fellow comrades, we must deal with this now. It may look dark, but trust me, together we will make it to the end of this long tunnel so we can once and for all deal with the undead undisturbed!
Revered Guardian of Ketave, you have been somewhat aggressive where by someone has died. May just be me working myself up though, like our dead Baron. But food for thought.

Hellbreaker sighed, not knowing what to do he decided to get himself some water to drink. At least some cold water would help him concentrate at the matters at hand.

It is refreshing to see the Lords not drunk, together we may be able to figure out what menace has come to us. I would suggest that even the master of the house may not be innocent in all this, I think it would be wise to keep an eye on him as well.

Allow me to join you in a refreshing drink, I am thirsty too. Though I agree, it is wise not to get intoxicated.

I believe that Hellbreaker, servant of Sigmar, is truly a villain and had a hand in the death of our poor friend Baron Hunted, whom I now lament having wrongly accused before.
