The never-ending battle against woke Hollywood and SJW infused entertainment media [trigger warning]

How true.
But will Hollywood listen.....?

I imagine Hollywood people who work with unnecessary Bloat jobs are a lot like American Congressman.

"We need to cut the wasteful spending....that the other party is endorsing. All our spending is necessary."

There is already evidence that various people in Hollywood are throwing their coworkers under the bus ratting them out for this or that. Not that that is a new thing. They always had this culture for many decades. The only thing that changes is what misdeeds people get ratted out for. During the McCarthy Era, Hollywood people lost their careers for having allegedly Communist sympathies. Now in current year, Hollywood people lose their careers for allegedly not having Communist sympathies.

Pessimists are happier people because 90% of the time they are right and 10% of the time they are pleasantly surprised.

I anticipated the X-Men reboot would be woke trash and nothing I've seen update wise and has done otherwise than to provide evidence that it will be either be woke garbage or simply regular garbage.

Long ago it was leaked that they specifically wanted writers who were not pre-existing X-men fans and they blacklisted Jubilee's original voice actress because she wasn't Asian in real life.

This is even better than Gina Carano's law suit, and if it succeeds it could have positive spill over effects to other media companies.

I saw that (on a different channel)... more good news. Disney's enemies grow by the minute. Death by a thousand cuts.

I didn't see this, why blacklist her from reprising the role?

I saw the new trailer, it looked pretty good overall

So I had to look this up and went down a rabbit hole.

Alyson Court (actress who played Jubilee in the original X-Men Animated Series) wasn't blacklisted... she was interested in returning to the show but not as Jubilee. She straight up said as much but wanted the role to be given to an Asian actress.

I went through and looked at the cast list, there are a couple of actors reprising their roles or else brought on to do other ones. More than I would have thought:
  • Cal Dodd- Wolverine
  • Lenore Zann- Rogue (probably the biggest win here!)
  • Alison-Sealy Smith- Storm
  • George Buza- Beast
  • Christopher Britton- Mr. Sinister
  • Adrian Hough- Nightcrawler
Previous members of the cast who are on the new show but not as the same characters:
  • Catherine Disher- previously Jean Gray
  • Christ Potter- formerly Gambit, now going to play Cable and Nathan Summers
  • Ron Rubin- previously Morph
  • Alyson Court- previously Jubilee, now some other character too (Abscissa?)
Pretty decent all things considered!

I saw some outcry about Morph being changed... not sure why his character was abysmal and basically a blank slate on the previous series and could use any kind of refresh.

Perhaps I was mistaken but I was under the impression that Alyson Court was pressured by Twitter mobs to make her decision.
