The never-ending battle against woke Hollywood and SJW infused entertainment media [trigger warning]

I only discovered this guy a few days ago. I very quickly became a fan.

 

This does a reasonably good job explaining WHY Anheiser Bush did this seemingly idiotic thing.

It does not explain why the big financial institutions adopted ESG.

Maybe I'm biased. My preferred way to write is that I do all the writing until I get stuck and then and only then I crowd source ideas. That's part one. Part two is to show my work to trusted beta readers to tell me where I need to add clarity or where I put in some detail that doesn't enhance the story. That is perhaps an egocentric way to write. There is probably a happy medium somewhere but I hated the campfire story game where everyone tells two minutes of story and then passes it off to another person. There is no real continuation or development, and you get a lot of trolls who like to derail the story for personal comedic purposes.

Just as an fyi, that's not really how writers rooms work.

Glad to see this thread is still alive and kicking.

I've been deeply enjoying this entire fiasco (as a side note, the memes have really been on point, but probably a bit too spicy for this forum).

We have yet to see a backlash of this magnitude. It honestly gives me hope that the rest of these woke corporations can eventually be broken and beaten into submission.

  1. Do we know that this ESG racket is a as described in the video, both in terms of function and scope/prevalence?
  2. Why would a lending company want to impose this on those they lend money to? Why deliberately decrease their ability to pay back the loan?
