Woke or not, in my opinion, "writer's room" with a large number of writers generally make inferior products as compared to a relatively small number of writing.
Maybe I'm biased. My preferred way to write is that I do all the writing until I get stuck and then and only then I crowd source ideas. That's part one. Part two is to show my work to trusted beta readers to tell me where I need to add clarity or where I put in some detail that doesn't enhance the story. That is perhaps an egocentric way to write. There is probably a happy medium somewhere but I hated the campfire story game where everyone tells two minutes of story and then passes it off to another person. There is no real continuation or development, and you get a lot of trolls who like to derail the story for personal comedic purposes.
