I just recently rewatched Episode VI, and have only just realised how masterfully done Episode III was in parodying two of the better scenes in VI (Luke disarming Vader but sparing him and Vader watching Palpatine electrocuting Luke and choosing to kill Palpatine) but reversing the outcomes to result in Anakin's fall (Anakin disarming Count Dooku and killing him, and Anakin watching Palpatine attempting to electrocute Mace and disarming Mace to let Palpatine kill him). Excellent.
