I was thinking of posting that video.

At this point while there might be some executives that are desperate to make money out of Star Trek, most of the decision makers with power over the Star Trek IP have a goal other than making money.

What is their goal?


I don't know why it's their goal, but it is clearly their goal.

I know that for people who have the goal to make money is usually either "I want to buy things I like" or "I want to be secure" or "I want my heirs to be secure and buy things they like."

But I don't know why Bad Robot wants to destroy Star Trek. Maybe it's political. Maybe they think it will clear the way for their own IP. Maybe its spite. Maybe they want notoriety.

Either way, it's clear that they want Star Trek to be destroyed.
