I really dig all of those. The Arbiter is one of my favorite designs from SF, and the Luke RoTJ inspired one looks great with the weathering. Have you seen the updated Arbiter design? Super cool.

I'm sorry to hear about the Indigo not working (especially with all the $$ we put into these). It sounds like either the Blue LED is failing, or that the wire to it is bad, or maybe that it's just not getting enough juice to power it fully? Is it from SF, and if so have you reached out to them?

I just checked it out now... pretty awesome. I love the Arbiter, which is why I have two of them (a V2 and a V3 I believe). I don't usually check out the lightsaber sites anymore, because it makes me want to buy more... and in all honesty I really don't need anymore.

I had to tweak the weathering to get it to look like it does in the picture. Straight from Saberforge it was nearly black, but some fine grit sandpaper and a bit of work later, I absolutely love the effect.

One day I may open her up and see if I can fix it.

It is from SF. I have not reached out to them, and it is quite a few years old now. It's also problematic having to shipping it across the border.

Yikes! You did have to put some work into lightening that weathering. One of my frustrations with the weathered sabers from SF is that they're SO heavy/dark. Well, you did a nice job.

Thank you. It definitely took a bit of time because of the necessity to work with extremely fine grit sandpaper.

I can't decide between two:

Writer/Director: George Lucas ($5)
Hero: Luke Skywalker ($3)
Droid: BB-8 ($3)
Villain: Darth Maul ($3)

or

Writer/Director: George Lucas ($5)
Hero: Anakin Skywalker ($5)
Droid: R2D2 ($5)
Villain: Rian Johnson (FREE)

:D

They should do a movie based on Starkiller from the Force Unleashed games. I'd watch that.

My choices:

  • Jean-Luc Picard ($5)
  • Data ($4)
  • Julian Bashir ($3)
  • Odo ($2)
  • Tucker ($1)

Picard’s easily the best captain, Data’s not only super-strong but can perform calculations at computer-level speed, Julian is one of the most intelligent doctors thanks to his genetic engineering (the other, the Doctor from Voyager, isn’t there), Odo’s a shapeshifter so he’s great at rooting out conspiracy and Tucker’s a decent engineer, not as good as Chief O’Brien but O’Brien isn’t up there.

  • Data ($4)
  • Seven of Nine ($3)
  • Leonard McCoy ($2)
  • Neelix ($1)
I see I’ve managed to get you hooked on these then! :D

As someone who has never seen Star Trek:

Jean-Luc Picard (£5) because Patrick Stewart
Spock (£4) on the off chance he spontaneously turns in Galvatron
Seven of Nine (£3) because their name vaguely reminds me of the Functionist Council in Transformers MTMTE
Leonard McCoy (£2) because I’m pretty sure I’ve actually heard of him
Number One (£1), ‘cause he’s a dog

:p
