Post COVID road trip. No villains, no Star Wars universe... simply who you want to hang out with. Order your list from best to worst!

BEST
  1. Obi-Wan + Leia + Baby Yoda + Cassian - 3 solid characters to hang out with. Cassian is the only weak link. Did I mention Baby Yoda!?
  2. Han Solo + R2D2 + Ahsoka + Rey - Han would be awesome to hang out with. Can't have a conversation with R2, but he is still pretty awesome. Ahsoka and Rey aren't too bad.
  3. Chewie + Luke + Padme + Finn - I hope Finn isn't screaming "Rey" for the entire trip. Padme is boring. But, we have good old Chewie and Luke (as long as it isn't whiny Luke).
  4. Anakin + C-3PO + Jyn + Poe - I'd rather crap jagged broken glass than ride in this car.

Here are my choices:
  1. Obi-Wan + Leia + Baby Yoda + Cassian: I’d pick this car too but for different reasons. Obi-Wan and Cassian would be pretty good company for me, and Leia’s OK. Baby Yoda’s meh to me but maybe I could warm to him.
  2. Chewie + Luke + Padme + Finn: Four characters I wouldn’t have a problem with sharing a car with. Luke may be a bit whiny but Padme’s fit and pleasant to talk to at the same time so that balances it out.
  3. Anakin + C-3PO + Jyn + Poe: I wouldn’t mind Anakin too much as long as he doesn’t go into one of his rages or talk about sand. C-3PO would probably be panicking all the time but he has the Maker sitting next to him so that might calm him down. Jyn would be fine. Poe’s an egotistical flyboy but the other three are OK.
  4. Han Solo + R2D2 + Ahsoka + Rey: This is the one I wouldn’t be able to stomach. Though I don’t mind Han as a Star Wars character too much, as a person he’d be a right cocky bastard and given he’s in the driver’s seat in British cars, he’d probably be going over the speed limit. On top of that Rey and Ahsoka are insufferable know-it-alls and I’d get tired of all three pretty quickly. The only decent character in this car is R2 and I wouldn’t get a word of English out of him.

1. Han Solo + R2-D2 + Ahsoka + Rey - All four would be fairly easy to get along with. Ahsoka and Rey would both be quite easy to talk to and Han Solo would certainly be entertaining (and R2 could zap him when he gets too annoying).
2. Obi-Wan + Leia + Baby Yoda + Cassian - Both Obi-Wan and Leia would be great to hang out with. Cassian isn’t enormously interesting but he isn’t uninteresting either. However, even if you could understand the other languages you still wouldn’t get any conversation out of Baby Yoda and while the other non-verbal characters are at least self sufficient Baby Yoda would require constant looking after.
3. Chewie + Luke + Padmé + Finn - Of the lot, Padmé’s the only really interesting one. Finn is like Cassian - not uninteresting as such but not someone I would especially choose to hang out with. Luke would just be fairly boring. Chewie would be very interesting if I could actually understand a word he said.
4. Anakin + C-3PO + Jyn + Poe - All of these characters would be easy to get along with individually. However, together they would be a bunch of massively impulsive risk takers doing insane things with C-3PO just stuck there screaming - ie A total nightmare.

What is the context of quarantine? Does this mean I'm hanging out with the characters while we are in quarantine or am I creating a dream ensemble for a Star Trek show to watch while in quarantine or is my goal is to create a Star Trek crew to cure the Corona Virus?

Why are there are any STD characters on there at all. Boo. Unless Number One the dog is an STD character, he's okay.

You fly around with your chosen crew on a small Starfleet craft. No matter who you choose, you have enough background crew to sufficiently run the ship. Your selected crew are the people you'll hang out with for an unspecified amount of time while Earth recovers from disease.

Shortly after my high school friends and I saw Phantom Menace in theaters, we made a late night run to the grocery store for snacks. We saw this.

A sugary drink in grenade like bottles where you pull the pin to drink it. We happened to like sugary drinks and grenade gimmicks.

We had high hopes for it, but it was very disappointing. We said it got the Darth Maul award for wasted potential. The coolest character in Phantom Menace got very few scenes and was anti-climatically cut in half.

Teenaged me would have wanted to hang out with Seven of Nine and Jadzia Dax, for...reasons.

37 year old me just wants to hang out with my bros and enjoy good food. Sisko, Archer, Bashir, skip the $2 category and take Number One, Neelix, and Quark (because it's boring if there is no friction).

But Maul was still successful. People still loved that character. So much so, that they brought him back and fleshed out his story in the Clone Wars and Rebels series.

Finn and Phasma are destined for the rubbish been of cinematic history. They could have been great, but never were (and never will be).
