Trooper #3 is from the opening scene of New Hope where Stormtroopers were at their most badass. #6 is a snowtrooper. None of the Imperials on Hoth embarassed themselves.

When I played the West End Star Wars game, the stats for snowtroopers was a smidgeon better than regular stormtroopers.

I'm pretty sure most the (few) Rebels who were killed on Hoth were shot by AT-ATs and AT-STs, not Snowtroopers, and just because Stormtrooper #3 was lucky enough to fight and defeat the Rebel Troopers, doesn't mean he would have done any better against the protagonists' maddening plot armour.
