Adorable, but there is a problem with adopting a baby Yoda. Unlike raising a human baby, the kid will never grow up and move away until the father figure is dead. He's got to spend THE REST OF HIS LIFE taking care of him because in fifty years he will be entering the equivalent of his tweens though one of my friends made an astute prediction. She said Baby Yoda will grow up quickly enough to become a wacky adorable sidekick kind of like young Groot.

Imagine how much more we'd like Rey if she saved one of these babies in Force Awakens...Of course that would involve a strong female character acting in a maternal role as opposed to acting in a macho fashion. Not allowed. Because it's impossible for a strong mother figure to be an empowering symbol for women.

Mama Bear and Papa Wolf remain two of my favorite character archtypes in ALL fiction.

One of the worst parts of the new Terminator movie was Sarah Connor herself was talking about motherhood like it was lowly and degrading.

Nobody blames Disney for that one. Lucas himself said that he would like to take a sledge hammer to every last copy of the Holiday Special. No one likes the holiday special. It is unwatchable!

I never shave (full beard), but I am curious: what about it could be political?
 
Going to watch the first two episodes of Mando today.
I was surprised to see that they are already available in German (I would watch them in English as well but this way I can watch them with my wife).
 
Ok we watched the two episodes.
We both liked them.
German voices are good, too.
