Yeah, that is what convinced me.
I really didn't think that I would need any other than my 40 painted and 30 in sprues, but these little buggers? Instant purchase.

They also had chameleon heads in archive, but I have plenty of those.

Quar preshaded and ready for painting. In the end I didn´t preshaded all 54, just 48. I realised that those 6 were tryout minis, so they wouldn´t be properly painted anyways.

I painted another Fynrydhad tractor for Fidwogs This time my design, but with official crew that came with new AT tractor. They fit well

Modellers club visit today. Rather impulsive one, I received permit while at work, so I didn't have many models with me. At least I primed new lizardmen and painted final 6 crusader models.
Leader with shotgun, pyk pyk handler and couple of rhyflers with various weapons.

Kiddo spent last couple of days talking about painting more of his minis, before getting distracted moments later.

Today we sat down right after breakfast and he worked on his pile of shame (which is 10 models! ). He told me the colours and suprised me when he decided to paint anteater multiple colours. My only job was to occasionally advice how to angle model not to get paint everywhere and to get amazed how good he is with one of my oldest brushes (I didn't want him to mess up my better ones). Only time I took brush was to mix new colour and do the base rims.


And of course, mandatory tongue out. Sign of pure focus.

And minute after posting I was packing them when I grabbed one of them bad, it fell and broke at both ankles.

Nah, just a dip of better brand superglue and fixed, but there will be small scar around.

I am more concerned by fusion blaster I lost. I thought I left it at work, but today I arived to ofiice and it is nowhere to be found.

Halftrack mostly finished, but while snipping MG from sprue, barrel just went off. So drilling and replacing by brass tube it is... Again, since same thing happened on first one as well.

I got Chalazion on my left eye. I am really pissed about it, because it puts pressure on my eye and my vision is quite blurry. Doctor measured it, and right now I need 1 dioptry for my left eye to correct vision, but there is nothing to do about it, as it should correct itself after chalazion gets better. Anyways, for last couple of days, my painting of details was basically:

step 1: put paint in brush
step 2: try to focus and roughly point it to area
step 3: pray and push to touch model
step 4: either sigh in relief, or start cussing

Anyways, since I had this one already preshaded and commander was painted on the stick, I decided to do something missing smaller details.

Eye was a bit better yesterday, so I managed to get done these little ones. Well, it was semi okay till details, then eye was tired and blurry again. I am seriously considering going to mall, get some non-prescription diopric googles and popping off glass on healthy eye.
