Those are SUPER cool @Imrahil! From what miniature line are they?

From what information I can gather from ebay it supposed to be from Scibor Miniatures. It is their style of Dwarven armor, but I can't find these models on their site. Their Dwarves ride War Bears (also impressive models).

Grrr, Imrahil

Thanks! I should have known. I've seen some of Scibor's stuff in the past.

EDIT: I found the miniatures on their site. They are sold individually at about 30 EUR/$37 USD each. Ouch. I know they make really cool dwarves, but Scibor is expensive! o_O

Yep they are expensive. And that is coming from people who buy GW models... that says a lot :P

Is that a ballistic rocket behind him?
I originally took it for a tower, but now that you mention it, it does look like a rocket.

I like those runes on it. Are these runes very different from the common dwarven runes?
This is fan-art, I don't believe they are official.

Here are some official Chaos Dwarf runes from the Forge World book Tamurkhan:

As to how much they differ from runes of the vanilla Dwarfs, we should call on our Dwarven expert @Lord Agragax of Lunaxoatl

They are not a race in need for many words, I see ;)

Official Chaos Dwarf runes are very different, certainly, a lot spikier than the Viking-style runes of the Dwarfs, and a lot fewer in number unless Forge World intended to give us just a micro-sized taster of that as well as the army list, or the Dwarfs lost a lot of speech capability in their isolation in the north and mutation into the Dawi-Zharr (let's face it those fangs they have are a bit of a mouthful for the poor devils, they're like plastic Halloween teeth - I wouldn't be surprised if they actively inhibited the Chaos Dwarfs' speech and thus they chose to only speak when it was necessary for the success of a slave-raiding mission or battle). The runes in that fanart are much closer to standard Dwarf runes, so while you could say on one hand that the monument in the art was perhaps first inscribed by the ancestors of the Chaos Dwarfs when they arrived in the north and east before they degenerated, on the other they are inaccurate if you take Forge World's version of the Chaos Dwarf lexicon as gospel.
