Well wait now...

I would have sworn there was a dwarf in the Iron Golems Warcry band... https://ageofsigmar.lexicanum.com/wiki/File:Armator_M01.jpg

I mean, his beard is covered in coin-armor, but he's clearly shorter than the humans, wields big frickin hammers, and has lots of armor...

I certainly pointed this chap out when he first appeared, but the coin-beard looks completely different from the curly Persian beards of traditional Chaos Dwarfs, so he wouldn't fit in with a Chaos Dwarf army.

This one is great :D

Shame we didn't get a model for a Dwarf Dreadnought before the End Times ruined everything:

GW could at least have given us one of those to make the pretty meagre releases Dwarfs got in 8th Edition more appealing.

I can still write my own unofficial rules for one and convert a miniature, but it's just a shame we never got to have an official one...

One of the three artworks designed for the first wave of Dwarf plastics in late 6th Edition:

I'm disappointed GW have stopped putting artwork on the boxes for plastic kits, because it's just so evocative and inspirational. You can still have a pic of the miniatures themselves on the back of the box, but to replace such cracking pieces of art with another pic of the miniatures on the front is a definite step backward.

4th Edition art of the Dwarfs wrecking the Night Goblins:

My first copy of the Dwarf army book was actually the one with this artwork on the front - an uncle of mine gave it to me along with some 4th Edition Hammerers (who remain my Hammerer unit to this day) and Josef Bugman and 9 of his Rangers. It's remained one of my most treasured Warhammer volumes.
