Hm, I was thinking this and the dagger are teases for the "Shadow" Elf warband that they teased a few models of earlier in the year.

...a new Lelith model would be pretty sweet too tho!

It definitely helps. Interesting to see such a light touch here. Hopefully that persists throughout all the faqs.

Everything so far is pretty much lining up with that leaked google doc so we can probably expect the same.

Completely agree. We’ll survive like this, for sure.

They also just altered the matched play points but not the summoning points? Competitively, most will be playing Starborne anyway, so Salamanders remain a super efficient summon...
 
Meh dissapointing to see they havent made a distinction between starborne and coalesced salamanders, but not exactly unexpected.

At least the Troglodon went down a few points, so that's Nice i guess. Not much else to say about it though, nothing that really stands out.
 
Dont know if anyone saw but Petrifix was changes from +1 to saves to reroll saves of 1. Thats pretty big!

Edit: Keep in mind it is only for melee attacks, so zero effect against ranged attacks.
 
Pink Horrors went up by 20. Flamers went up by 20. Chaos Ascendant and Gaunt Summoner both changed to only spawning 5 Pink Horrors instead of 10. Ardboyz went up by 10 but Brutes went down by 10. Not too sure about KO - Nobody plays them around here so I dont care too much.

All in all seems pretty alright.
 
Is the dread saurian still 510 points or did he go down with some of our other monsters?

It is, but they are still easily worth 110 pts in especially Dracothian's Tail imo.

I would still say 2x3 Salamanders is an autoinclude in any list bar Saurus stuff.
 
Even in dracothian tail fitting 2 units is tight. Luckily we have to cut down to 3 endless spells now, which helps, but yeah 660 pts in salamanders is a ton. I'm thinking of going 1 3 salamander unit and 1 unit of 10 chameleons to save some points and let me take all I want to take.
