AoS NEW *rumor*

are those 1500 point games? Teclis + 4 units seems extremely little, even with their pointcosts.
 
@Nart Did you post your Thunderquake list somewhere? My mate was curious about such a list but he cant really figure out how to put it together.

No, it was full-fledged 2k points game. 2 units of 20 wardens, 1 unit of 20 sentinels, 1 unit of 10 sentinels, teclis, Cathallar, Auralan legion, endless spell - that's 2k of LRL.

40 Wardens = 480. 30 Sentinels = 420. Teclis = 660. Cathallar = 140. Not sure about Auralan Legion and endless spell point costs but without those two it is 1.700. Seems about right.

Yeah I wonder whats gonna happen with Thunder Lizard without Brooch. The odds of the artefact surviving is rather slim since the two other realms we have had teased showed two completely new artefacts, non related to the current ones. The Brooch is just so unique tbh.

I played my mate the other day with Kroak + Starpriest for generating CPs with Brooch artefact, and it was a bit dodgey already then to keep firing the Bastiladons twice. If I ran the list I would like at least +1 to hit on both. I feel like you might have to skip out on the Batallion and go for double frog to generate enough CPs.
 
Bit more info about the new GHB. Nothing particularly exciting, but it does seem to confirm we're not getting any replacement artifacts for the lost realm artifacts, which kinda sucks.

bleh over all ulgu is better then aqsy but man does that artifact suck
 
I'm also a bit confused by the ulgu spell. Like it's good and all, but why is it better against worse saves. Why are there so many specials that seem dedicated to killing weak enemies with bad saves. Why are anti-armour spells so rare?
 
So I guess this confirms we will need to wait for the errata/FAQ for our updated points, if we get any.

Well, on the plus side that means that they have had time listen to our feedback since our tome released and can make changes based on that regardless of when the GH went to print.

Now we just have to hope that they did listen and that they came to similar conclusions in their internal testing.

more likely they had plenty of time to listen to the complaints about our factions. negative voices are louder and addressed more often than positive ones, unfortunately.

a list in a TTS tournament i'm in this weekend is pretty similar.

Teclis
Cathallar
10 wardens
10 wardens
10 wardens
20 sentinels
10 sentinels

auralan legion
Geminids, Twinstones, umbral spell portal.

I'll let you know how it goes, his first game is against KO haha.

When i submitted my list i didn't know realm spells were in use and the first two games are both in aqshy. I would have 100% brought my knight list if i had known and i'm a little bummed, but we'll see how fangs does.

4 people are playing seraphon out of 16, its something. 2 DT, 1 Fangs (me) and 1 thunder lizard.

That's me! I wanted to try a magic heavy list. One of the Skaven players is my buddy that got me into AoS.

I'm glad you're not playing the Seraphon cheese list lol.

My first opponent is a Steggagedon list. It will be beat to see how it plays. Seems CP hungry and there's not much CP there.

I'm playing a skaven player round 1 with double bell, is that your friend? Seemed like a great guy, we are playing tomorrow evening.

No, he's paired against an Archeon list on Table 1.
