AoS NEW *rumor*

Sigh... so, no Seraphon updates from GAMA. The only thing that could be a Seraphon tease is the new short trailer for Forbidden Power. In fact, at first I thought it was about the Seraphon b/c the intro shot looks very much like a Lustrian temple. There are birds chirping and the camera pans down to a hidden door underground. Braziers magically light, and the doors open. Then you hear curious screams, or perhaps roars? It's probably still all SCE, but maybe it hints to the Seraphon spawning new live armies?

To that, I can't help but be ticked by how much SCE has (thematically) taken from Lizardmen/Seraphon; Chaos elimination, solar/celestial basis, temple-like structures, cool beasts, lots of gold, and they stole our comet spell!

They have certainly borrowed from many of the motifs that underpin Seraphon. We still have the time-crushing, world-unmaking, reality-halting, magic of the old ones though. Here is hoping any new spell lores reflect that:D

I agree. That was one of my favorite things to discover when I picked up Lizardmen all those years ago. That these Slann, when they all connected to enact the will of the Old Ones, could say "Oh, here, those entire continents need to be split" or "This whole land needs to be flooded". And it happened.

Slann on their own have a massive potential potential for devastation, and when they decide to work together (which doesn't happen often, admittedly) you're looking at some apocalyptic carnage. That's what made me mad when the nerfhammered Kroak, but didn't change his point value. On another note, I really do think (or maybe just sincerely hope?) that GW will update Seraphon soon. We got a short story that alludes to some absolutely monolithic changes in lore and possibly gameplay, we have one of the largest playerbases, and one of the COOLEST MOTIFS OUT THERE! I think the only cooler army might Kharadron, being steampunk sky pirates, but we're aztec lizards summoned into existence from pure energy by the indomitable will and interminable memory of the legendary slann, who were able to construct SPACESHIPS to save their race. We not only need an update to our battletome, model line, and allegiance, WE DESERVE IT!

Okay, venting and inspirational speech over. Keep your hopes up everyone!

On another note, the statues that guard the entrance are strangely similar to egyptian cats.
A new sigmar chamber? Settrus and the imperishables?

Well, the cold one knights are out of stock, so is the stegadons. I’m hoping for a warscroll update on the carnosaur. Good as it is, for the price it could be better.
