AoS NEW *rumor*

Man...getting the limited edition battletome, the realmshifter terrain and warscroll cards already racked up to 135€. GW is making money off their products like a sea cucumber is getting passed around on a mermaid party.

woop woop got the CE book

Same, like I said, couldn't resist, it's the first battletome I bought for AoS so.. might aswell. Especially since that guy that wanted me to sell his two Stegadons suddenly couldn't part with them, he loves them just too much, which I totally understand.

What I'm really liking about this new book is that it seems like you could take a balance of units, big dinos, flyers, skinks and saurus and a few heroes and still be competitive because of the synergies.

One of the things that got me into seraphon originally was the large range available and also the fact that most battleline units weren't ridiculously expensive in comparison to other factions. I really like the idea of running some saurus backed up by skinks with the guard like the old "temple guard" for a slann who's shooting comets across the table at everyone. Feels a little bit like they've gone back to their roots in terms of a play style. We'll see I guess!

What's the verdict on Slann my dudes? Ash is saying that you're almost always going to take a Slann, so dont worry about non-Slann command traits.

But I'm looking at how badly summoning got shafted, and the Slann doesn't really bring 260 points to the table anymore.

Anyone else in the "mandatory Steg Chief as general" camp? I can't wait to convert a unique Steg to use for this guy!

imho, that's great, and actually interesting. It's also far more skirmish-y than the old wary fighter. I like it.
plus, with how many CP skinks heroes generate it'd

It does appear to have vastly more synergy between various options than we usually see. Which is nice.

GW boss: "Ok guys, GHB2019 lore wasn't received good by the community, especially spells like Claws of Glory. Any Ideas how to make it useful?"
Employee 1: "Make it reroll 1's to wound"
Employee 2: "Let is reroll any hit rolls"
Employee 3: "Remove other ways to reroll hit rolls, so this one will be the best"
Later Employee 3: *Employee of the Month*

well at the very least we have the casting buffs to off set the high CV
but we are a very magic army that has bad spells and a very monster heavy army that has bad monsters
