8th Ed. New Lizardman army book and info

I was going to disagree with you because they make no mention of it and take none in the battle report, but then again the BR was awful and explained nothing.
 
Yea they usualy dole out the information over a couple of issues to sell more magazines. :rolleyes:

Probably a "tease them with pictures but no direct info so they will buy the book" move or something dumb.
 
Anyone else notice that the skink oracle that rides the troglodon has a split tail? As does the troglodon?
 
im just going to hope that they didn't show in the battle report to allow them to have the maximum amount of new models etc

Tell that to my savage Orc boss; 2 attacks base, +1 for add. Hwp, +1 for frenzy, all at S5 in the first round of combat thanks to choppaz. I think its kind of sad that we are so used to Saurus being awful that we're standing around saying things like "nah, there's no way they would power up Saurus so they were only slightly worse at fighting than a savage Orc".

yep that waht makes him an oricle/prophet,
Tenehuan also had a split tail, it was considered an
omen since the split tail commet was in the sky during the
rise of sotec. :pompus:

Aha, I see your point! Fair enough, I just hope this means the Saurus champion will be become a more powerful presence after all. What's '.Hwp' btw?

Yes, I took it as a sign of Sotek? Now we've seen the Trog's rules, I'm really curious to see how the 'Oracle' will stand out. Maybe Sotke/Old-one related upgrades?

We have the full rules for the trog? I think I must've missed them, how many pages back?

I really hope there's more to the Oracle than just being a rider on the Trogolodon; ie he has some special buff rule and can be taken on foot also, but its sounding more and more like he's just there...

Haven't read the fluff yet, but someone on Bell also has their White Dwarf so I'll ask.
 
Beasts Priests have me pretty excited. Especially with all the new dinos and cheaper characters.
 
Since the Engine does not need a hero, you will see more of them on the field.

Oh my gosh, yes. You could probably take 2 Engines and a Carnosaur. Or an Engine and 2 Carnosaurs. Or an Engine, a Steg, a Basti, and 2 Carnosaurs. The options are endless!!!
