People constantly try to find weird interpretations of the rules to get away with making ridiculous combo's in these kinda games, especially during big changes like a new edition or a new GHB.

Assuming people will smoothly move along into the new edition as intended when there is any ambiguity or unclarity whatsoever in the new ruleset is, at best, hopelessly optimistic.... Hell, it's extremely optomistic even if there's no ambiguity...
 
It’s not even ambiguous! There’s no such thing as bound spells anymore! The book changed all of the endless spells to replace the old ones, and the text in the battletome was errata’d to erase mention of “bound” spells as they were. Seraphon do not bring bound spells, they bring the same endless spells as everyone else and the controlling mechanic is changed. Unless you wanna try to make argument equally as dumb as “I can use old lord kroak cause the book has his warscroll and points and the new warscroll and points are for a different model”. I honestly cannot believe this is even a discussion.

Agreed, but some things just cross the line. For example, discussion on mortal wounds and scaly skin had a place indeed. You could interpret it in either way and have some arguements.

Saying that we can use bounds spells warscrolls from seraphone tome... is a bit too much for me.
 
O sure, there isn't much of an argument to be made, especially against the text in the errata. But imho; that text should've just been put directly in the GHB. It's always clearer to just make it explicit when models are removed from the game instead of quietly removing their point costs and only really mentioning they are gone now in the errata. What they've done now is just kinda sloppy.
 
They should've at least put BVW in legends. But, probably, we should expect update to legends in near future.
