Working steadily on my Spearmen - done most of the colours, but currently painstakingly working through 16 freehand Yvresse eagles on shields and banners... :hungover:

Hello again! I’m proud to announce that my Astrolith Barer is fully painted and done, Eternity Warden base is....mostly finished, and I got a TON of work done on my Saurus Knight Conversions! They are all assembled, green stuff is finished, and I’ve almost finished painting the hero too!

I wasn’t expecting to get so much work on those guys this month, but I’m so glad I did! Thanks for the motivation you guys provide and keep up the good work! I’m already thinking about next month’s goal list...

For reference my goals from june were:

Allright, my intention is to:

- Paint and base my first Troglodon.

- Paint skink riders for Ripperdactyls.

- Paint Kroq-Gar (not mount).

- Paint a Skink Priest.

- Fully assemble finished Bastiladon and then make a base for it.

If by that point I have more time I intend to paint the Ripperdactyls and Grymloq, and possibly find bits to make some Jungle Swarms.

Then I should update my painting block with all the stuff that I already have finished, but been too lazy to take pictures of yet.​

I finished painting and basing my Troglodon, and when I get around to it, pics will be posted on my paint blog.

Mostly finished the riders for the Ripperdactyls.

Finished Paitning Kroq-Gar and Grymloq along with basing.

Almost finished Skink Priest

Fully assembled, painted and based Bastiladon


This makes my goals for this month:

- Finish Ripperdactyls and riders

- Finish base for Skink Priest

- Finish Dread Saurian

I'll just post my progress in the spirit of the thread:

Got a little further with the Priest and the skink riders for the rippers are done.

I did finish painting my Dread saurian and I had put him on a base, but sadly it couldn't hold him so he broke off and so I need to find a solution to get him to stand more firmly in place.
I've also begun re-painting all my Temple Guard along with assembling and painting a new box of them, where I've made one as a BSB/astrolith.

Late response but here it goes! You can see every update on my painting blog (link below) and the explanation why I haven't been able to finish all the models I wanted to.

I just got 3 more Saurus Knights to go for August and then I'll start working on the Start Collecting! box.

Very nearly finished my High Elves - only 4 more Yvresse eagles to be outlined and 4 that I have already outlined that need to have white areas filled in where I’ve accidentally blotted them with black from the outline (I generally paint the rough appearance of the image with all the base colours before painting the black outline around it).
 
If I can, I think I'd like to get any combination of Shields, weapons and metallic's finished on my Saurus group. Having just finished all of the Black colouring across them it is on to the next one now. Won't update my blog until either they are all completely finished or at least significant progress is made.
