May not be the original, but it’s the best I would be able to buy to start TK:

They are not bad figures honestly. Having assembled over 300 original mantic skellies (both revenants and skeleton Warriors) as well as about 80-100 of the empires of dust variants, they are good figures with lots of character.

The problem for me is the cloth. I want some bare bones skellies in a mass produced format.

True but if they were bare bones Skeletons like GW made them, it would be as though they weren’t wearing much when they were placed in their graves, whereas these Skeletons look as if they were buried in their armour, meaning that they as always been prepared to serve their king after death, which I think fits the TK lore really nicely.

Also I really don’t wish to risk being done on EBay, and these are the only cheap new boxes around.

True. Most Egyptian armor would have been made of cloth or leather though. Even assuming the generosity of a mastaba for thier entombment, grave carrion bugs and time, along with whatever oxygen was sealed within the tomb, would have eroded most of it.

I'm picky. I do like armored/blinged up skellies. I'm just burnt from painting 300 of them a few years back
