My favourites were pretty standard: Megatron, Optimus Prime, Grimlock, Soundwave.

As far as a set of autobots/decepticons, definitely the Dinobots!

I always thought the deciever was too slaaneshy

Nightbringer fit the theme more, especially if replaced with a necron head

You mean model-wise? Because lore-wise he much more closely resembled Tzeentch. I thought that the Deceiver was a perfect counterbalance to the Nightbringer.

On the Autobots side, I'm a fan of Jazz and Skids, though I think you could probably count the entire main cast of More Than Meets the Eye/Lost Light. When it comes to Decepticons, I quite like Soundwave, Thundercraker, Misfire and Fulcrum
