Just for laughs...

Absolutely! I grew up with half my family living in Maine, they all owned guns. The ones who had 100+ acres of land allowed the rest to hunt. All the long guns were in cabinets with no locks but no one touched them. Unless you were cleaning, hinting or defending the family, we had bears and other predators, you didn't play with the firearms. Pistols were locked up but that's understandable. We had no gun accidents or theft. Now with more people and more idiots they have to be locked up. Idiots shouldn't have guns and I'm looking a few family members specifically.

it should be against the need for gun control.
Instead, it bolden and underlines the fact that the problem is not the abundancy of guns, but the people using them and the mentality of a whole nation...

Exactly! I was raised in a military family and you didn't play with real guns. Ever. We had bows, knives and a ton of other weapons but you were taught respect for them and you didn't play with them. Once the adults saw one of us acting the fool the whole group was punished as we were responsible for each other. Only two idiots in the family were my uncle and my mothers husband. Neither are people I ever shoot with.
