Not my shoes, those are US prices. Gas is more expensive in Canada than in the US. Slightly less than in Europe, but the distances travelled in Europe are significantly less on average than in Canada. For instance, my father-in-law will drive 14 hours to get to his hunting cabin (and never even leave the province). You could probably cross your whole country in that time. Canada is big, and things are often spaced far apart. Short drives in Canada are considered to be very long drives in most of Europe.Here is more than 2 euros / liter.
