Grrr, Imrahil

We don't know those are for Warcry, they could be for a Warhammer Day exclusive miniature given GW have followed the Vampire route for those for some reason now. Besides the phrase 'Nightmare' isn't often applies to Vampires.

True, but I would not rule them out completely ;)

Grrr, Imrahil

Some of them taste more as FEC to me.
And that's an army in desperate need of some refresh.

Certainly the clawed hands look more like those of a Ghoul, and those little sprite things could easily be baby Ghouls. I agree Flesh-Eater Courts have been rather forgotten with the arrival of Nighthaunt and Ossiarch and the reboot of Legions of Nagash into Soulblight, it would be nice for the fans of that army to get something.

That wouldn't be good at all, when we already have that with the Underworlds warband and what the Lizardmen community really needs is specifically plastic Chameleon Skinks. There would be no point at all in putting more plastic normal Skinks in that box when we have the big box of 24 of them. It would be a real waste of an opportunity (though GW are seasoned veterans at wasting opportunities).
I would be a waste, because a warband of Chameleons could be neat. But I can't see GW putting enough models into a Warcry boxed set (Chameleons) to directly compete with another AoS/Fantasy kit they have (even if it is finecast). That's why I assume only 1-3 Chamos and/or only 1-2 Kroxigor.

To that point, Salamanders/Razordons are probably off the table for the same reason (but a Skink can dream). The Salamander kit alone is a Seraphon "Golden Goose" and GW is not going to kill it.

I don't know, this will be a limited run Warcry boxed set priced around $230. Since it will only be around for a short time and cost more, maybe GW will put in more cool/useful Seraphon models than I think?

Sadly, I'm starting to believe that most recent rumor engine is going to be terrain from one of these Warcry boxes, and NOT a plastic Saurus Astrolith/Battle Standard Bearer. :(

I don't see how, given that all the terrain pieces in the Warcry sets will be ruined, whereas the rumour engine piece of Lizardman tech is working well. It could be an objective, but GW have never put big objective scenery pieces in Warcry boxes, just walkways and enough terrain for models to scramble over and fight each other on.

Possibly. But, to be fair, it could just as likely be either a more intact piece of terrain or a broken piece with a more intact/working section. Even the Realmshaper Engine terrain can be built as new or old and vine covered. That may not be quite the same, but a similar concept.

Trust me, I WANT it to be a new Standard Bearer, but I'm a "sky is falling" kind of Skink. Still, fingers crossed :)

Tomorrow!

So something Gargants as well?

Grrr, Imrahil

I'm concerned at the presence of Warriors of Chaos weapons and equipment denoting yet another thing for them, but the size and nature of the footprint suggests that Sons of Behemat may well be one of the Destruction factions set to get a tome this Autumn.

It's not WoC, it's Khorne imagery on the shields. So maybe Khorne v.s SoB?

Wouldn't it be a punch in the gut if many of the rumors were just objects attached to another gargant... :(

That could be. My wallet hopes so. ;)

Can't be, because GW said one Order faction, one Chaos faction and two Destruction factions were getting love this Autumn. We've already had Lumineth and Tzeentch for Order and Chaos, so that leaves the two Destruction factions left, unless SoB VS WoC is scheduled for December. I wouldn't be at all surprised if GW skips the two Autumn Destruction factions for previewing something like that at NOVA on Thursday because they've been harping on about their favourite Warriors of Chaos since early summer, but we'll see.
