I'm sure @Lord Agragax of Lunaxoatl loves the Vampire model! Joking aside, she's a pretty cool model.


As for the Space Marine... just another Space Marine... one of millions.

I am not that much shaken by any of the them.
But I can understand that the Vampire model is something cool because there are not much vampires in AoS. Opposite to yet another metal can.

mwha, there's already 5 or 6 vampires on foot. Only one generic vampire though, everyone else is a named character.

My previous silence was enough to convey my contempt at the very idea that, of all the factions and characters they could have chosen, GW would choose such a horrible model in their Warhammer Day celebrations.

And I'm not talking about yet another Primaris Lieutenant.

The number of Space Marines models is slowly approacing the number of Space Marines existing in the 40k universe.

I love my old firstborn... there wasn't that big of variety of similar models.

That is interesting... a parrot, and the bottom half of one variation of the Jolly Roger in its symbol. Obviously a pirate warband, but what sort of pirates? Dark Elf Corsairs? Imperial buccaneers? The return of the Grotbag Scuttlers?

And the second individual warband has lightning as its clue... a Dragon Ogre, perhaps?

This exactly were my thoughts upon seeing this... I am rooting for the Dark Elf Black Corsairs

I can't place the lightning within one of the factions other than SCE, but that would be highly unlikely and outrageous.

I can't see it being Sigmarines given GW have returned to form with Stormcast in the starter set, and that those represent the new chamber, but they may yet negatively surprise us.

Fair enough. Personally, I've loved nearly all of the recent GW Vampire content. Blame Netflix's Castlevania!

Dark Elf Coursairs would be a nice throwback. I could see DoK pirates, Vampirates, KO pirates, or Goblin/Hobgoblin pirates.

To me, that sounds exactly like something GW would do.
