GW News: LAS VEGAS OPEN 2025

Forgeworld have put a few models on last chance to buy, some being the Wolf Rats, Brood Horror, Carmine Dragon and a few others.
And the Magma Dragon, which I had hopes to pick up one day but I can't at the moment.

Updates about the aetherwar box:

Apparently we get updated flying rules, which is interesting.

Other than that nothing special. It announces tzeentch endless spells (not that that should be a surprise), that we get a look at the battletomes next week. And apparently tzeentch gets fancy dice.

One of the KO subfaction abilities (on facebook).
Not too exciting, but does make them less of a pushover in melee at least.

There's a lack of announcements for tzeentch though.

o boy, near immortal fyreslayers that get to punch you for free when they die. That's gonna be interesting.

That rule only applies to Skyfarer models, so Fyreslayers don’t count.

However, Vulkites have a once-per-Battle special rule that allows them to attack before they die anyway :D

Well that's a shame. Still makes em far scarier to deal with in melee.

It’s not that much of a bonus for things like Arkanauts and Thunderers, who shoot before the combat phase anyway and have poor close combat stats. However, it is good for Endrinriggers, Skywardens, Admirals and Brokk who do have pretty darn good stats.

o it isn't amazing. But it does mean that even relativly "harmless" targets like arkanauts do at least get a free hit in. It's the difference between completly harmless & the ability to at least stand their ground against minor threats reliably. It means that a minor unsupported flanking force won't be able to just steamroll them like they usually would steamroll ranged troops.

With the preview for Tzeentch finally out, i predict some tournament victories for them...

meh, most of it doesn't seem too likely to be super dominant so far. There's some powerfull and usefull stuff. But nothing that's immortal, and nothing that just pumps out 9347489375987 points of damage per round. Nor is there any nonsense that breaks the usual flow of the game, like Slaanesh's tendency to go first.

So far at least I haven't seen anything yet that makes me question GW's sanity like with the bonereapers.

It helps that's she's not wearing some weird suit of armour where they can't decide making between her look attractive or making the armour look functional resulting in neither. Now she's just wearing functional leather clothes, which because they're tight fitting sport-clothes on an athlete looks decent as well.
