Graveyards are going to markers, not terrain pieces. I am, however, obviously going to make a set of markers with gravestones on them... The only question is what base size to go with?! I've got loads of great gravestones to use.

I bought some tombstones from greenstuffworld for my graveyard project and still have some left. Going to use those. :)

The distance to the graves will be measured from their center anyway so I will make them rather small, 32mm bases.

Anything smaller is too small to decorate nicely IMO, anything bigger is in the way, especially since IIRC there is no way to destroy those things. If they are big enough they become something like Sylvaneth Woods blocking forces, I think I wouldn't want to do that.
 
Favoured retainers is pretty cool...
 
I have no clue about Vampires so I can't really tell. The only one I play is a VLoZD and I play that one as a hard hitter in my Deathrattle army.

...I wonder if that will still work in the future. Maybe. If he drops to 400 points. Right now I play Grand Alliance Death but only because there are no Deathrattle allegiance abilities that are worth it.
 
If you've got an elite force and you increase their number of attacks by 100%, 50% or even 33% then you're gonna have a real good time...

Wow these new models are expensive. I haven't bought a character model in quite sometime, before the End Times actually. I can't believe a human sized character model is up to $40 now.

Such a nice sculpt, but that is insanely expensive.

The worst offenders of price influx are definitely the characters. There has always been a character "tax" so too say, but it's getting kinda stupid.

Yes, all the 4 new characters have the same exceedingly high cost.

They are not that much bigger than a Wight King and that one is 12 bucks or so.

I like the model, but to be honest I don't really "need" it for any of my armies. I was going to use it for a Chaos conversion project I have planned. Not sure if I will pick it up now. The only reason I am still considering it is because I'm sitting on a $50 GW gift card I got as a gift about a year ago. Maybe I'll wait to see how the new Dark Elves stuff pans out in a couple of months.

Is that in US dollars? When I checked GW, it was $35. Not much of a difference, but still... I'm still planning on buying all four at some point.
 
Dang that is expensive... you can buy two of those and it will be more expensive than buying a Land Raider Crusader ($70ish)
