Javelin armed Terradon Riders... boy did these take a long time and were a complicated process, but I'm actually very happy with them. As well all know, photography tends to flatten our models and remove the transitions, so trust me when I say things blend together better in person (I also just suck at photography lol).

My first real attempt at fire effect. Almost entirely airbrushed, with very little ink used. Due to the nature of the model and the high chance of accidentally airbrushing the Terradon itself, I stopped after doing a layer of yellow on top of white and then orange. I may go back and try some red and black to make these "smokier" but ultimately the orange came out so clean I just don't want to lose anything by trying more. Not today at least.

Phoenix Orange ink from Greenstuff World was invaluable in making the ends a bit darker than the rest and in some lighting this makes the tips look red.

Such a great job, love the colors you used.
Very nice blending.

Agree, everything fits together quite nicely there, the smooth transitions help with that.
Good job!

He looks good, very nice blue scales.
Colorwise he fits awesome with his mount.

Great work

Nice vibrant colors. I like it a lot. :)

Just wanted to say thanks for the comments! They mean the most!

I've been a bit delayed... the Trex's head from behind his eye to the base of his neck split open due to some uncured resin or such. The uncured resin... then spilled over the turf/flocking.

Sigh lol.

But quick thinking and painting and the poor Rex is pretty much back to snuff, you wouldn't notice anything from 2 ft. Upclose it looks like a scar. But the flock is a lot less vibrant than it once was.

Other than that, I went and printed off a bunch of miscellaneous stuff... spiders... hydra... some Centaurs... etc. But also some Skinks, another ornate cannon, and something special :)

You may notice that this is a Kroxigor alt from Clay Beast Creation... has some modifications. First and foremost, he is printed at 125%... largest I could do without splitting him into components. I then added the decorative base piece from Lost Kingdom's ancient Stegadon... tusks and a giant feathered crest thing... lots of little trinkets.

Also look carefully in Pic #2 and you'll see the Trex with his split neck... I discovered it when taking these pics lol.

That model looks great! Nice find.
