Seems preety bog standard still. But idea is to make that TG really a tough nut to Crack

MR -2 from the Scar Vet Glyph Necklace
-1 to hit from shooting from the sun standard
No stand and shoot vs them, sun std again
+1 to combat res from warbanner

2 stegs. Howdah change is so clutch for keeping them alive.

Skink priest goes with a Skink unit to try and dish out as much Battle Magic he can while still alive. Plus RRoR

The rest I think is pretty self explanatory

I wouldn't personally give such magic items to a 1 wound champion but up to you. It's not bad just got great imo. With the points saved I'd upgrade harrowing scrutiny to becoming cogitation. Now we can dispel while locked in combat it's awesome.

It's Wolves of the Sea insurance and allows him to dive onto an ethereal challenge.
 
I would prefer 2 ancient stagadons, only on with engine of gods. Sincerely that extra attack isn't so good, much better to have S6. You have point for both. Sword of swiftness..well I don't know. As well i don't know if is a good idea to give the BSB to the saurus on foot (with not to the slann if he is inside the TG anyway?)

The reason to not do the slann is if I have to send him away for any reason.
While he is still around the TG they can all take challenges, so the BSB is relatively protected, but if he has to leave, then I still have the standard with the TG block for its affect and combat res and my slann isn't a giant juicy 400 point target.

It also theoretically allows me to send the BSB in a different direction if I want to keep the slann bunkered up.
