Time to put paint on this boy!
I have found a water based deco wall paint that is fairly close to Celestial grey (which is the base for my Gondor walls)
Cheaper option

That looks like it was so much work, but very worth it in the end. Can't wait to see it painted.

First painting episode:



All walls have a base layer on them and working my way through the grooves of the tiles... What a job

I put some more Gondor scenery down to keep me motivated

It took a while, but the next part of the board is done. All tile grooves are painted.

I started painting the tiles, first the base layer.



And then a top layer.



Also put some models down to have a satisfied feeling of completion, albeit only for a tiny part of the board
