Blog Sleepy corner

They look good to me! :)
Thanks :)

So, I´ve decided to cut some loose ends on couple of projects and make rest of this year kind of mixed bag.

My yearly goals were to paint certain amount of points in models and I am basically finished, but all my armies are in this odd point value where I could paint just a bit more to reach some sort of next milestone. (Fo example I have 1868 points of Isengard and I have everything ready to make it 2000 - or more)

I´ve been painting 6 armies this year and I found something for every one of them :)

For example, I have Isengard demolition team that is sitting in my drawer unpainted just because I broke and lost torch from berserker. Not anymore, we are finishing things! Bit of wire and small ball of cotton wool and game is on!

No plastic models today. Kiddo was talking about wanting a dozer again (he is getting one for christmas), so I decided that we do project together.
I made quick blueprint according to his specifications in the morning.

And after nap we grabbed cardboard box and started.

I need to find paper tape to cover edges and prepare yellow paint and they have nice painting project for when I am at work. :)

That is so creative. What a fun project.

It was fun to basically make something without excessive thinking and for once "just do stuff". I think that only thing I measured on whole dozer was to get track threads parallel, other than that it was all eyeballing it.

Wardog Stalker is done! Last time I waas considering if to put nurgling inside, or chaos cultist outside, so when I found this little bugger, it was decided. Dark Mechanicus henchman will suffice. :)

By the way, if the guy from Ramshackle Games ever finds this post, thank you for free mini way back during pandemic.

That makes it doubly impressive. Some mighty fine eyeballing.

Thank you, I am now 5 miniatures from 2000 points, so it is still not even close to what came out of Black Gate, but we´re getting there :D

Moving towards thousand, we have another two guys that were sitting preshaded in my drawer.

Boo! Punt the Nurgling! Purge the disease with fire and spite!

Also is that a pus-y(?) wort on the Nurgling's belly? Ewww.... I've never had to write that word before, and the natural instinct on how to spell it certainly isn't the right way.

good painting though.

Puss filled, maybe? :D Thanks :D

Still couple of details missing and I found that couple of holes, where I thought that bricks are not needed, are visible.

Also it is not really 1:1, as it is mostly my representation of tutorial that was only inspired by movie inspired by book. :D

I need to figure out statues next.

It is seriously great looking!
Keep it up

It genuinely does, and I am jealous of your skill in crafting such. Meanwhile, all I can do is hoard STL files and hope to one day actually have the means to print them :-P
