GW News: LAS VEGAS OPEN 2025

Can't even look at the WarCom page at the moment. I'm just getting a 500 Internal Server Error message. ¬_¬

Oh my Chotex, this year they're actually being sensible and doing one box for each Grand Alliance! Was it last year or the year before when they did two boxes for Death, and I think either Destruction or Chaos got left out (I think Destruction).

Hmm... the only one of those I might possibly be tempted by is the Cities of Sigmar box. But I'm not that tempted, especially not with my current finances. Especially since most of the contents would be used in conversion projects rather than to field a CoS army.

I'm reasonably sure I'd already seen it, but that rat with the bomb strapped to it makes me chuckle. Paint it white, and we shall dub that rat "Danger Mouse". Make sure to play the Danger Mouse theme every time it charges forward to bravely blow up the Stormcast Eternals.
 
Overall, I'd say that we've got another underwhelming reveal. The Skaven were pretty cool, but I actually prefer the previous reveal (Blood Bowl Chaos Dwarfs!) over this one.

Skaven are always entertainment. Stormcast are always Sigmarines. And 40k Ratlings are... always hungry?

The leader of the Stormcast Emberwatch would make a good conversion for a DnD paladin, just got to remove that god-awful bolter... sorry, hand-crossbow. Maybe swap the axe for a different weapon, depending on what paladin I plan to depict.

Skaven look like they're leaning into the World War 1 influence with those gasmasks. And I have no issue with that, not at all. Also, love the way that one of them actually has a potato-masher grenade. That is just... *chef's kiss*

And the ratlings... is this the first official model ratlings have had for the past two decades? Longer? And they've embraced the silliness of them instead of trying to make out that hungry vertically challenged chaps with hairy feet are totally grim dark. Just got to love the fact that as a battle wages around them, they're having some roast chicken. Or something that looks like roast chicken.

It's always disappointing seeing more Stormcast, I'm so sick of those guys. Just a personal opinion though.

Yeah, it should say something that I dismissed two of the three outright, and the only one I gave the time of day was for consideration in a potential non-warhammer conversion. Surely the Cities of Sigmar should be getting more time in the limelight, do they even have an Underworlds release yet? Let the far more numberous normies get more time to shine.

I don't recall many normal human Underworlds warbands. There were these guys (Hexbane Hunters) from back in the day...

Yep, as often happens the skaven are gorgeous models.
Other than that a pretty meh reveal.

A verdict that shocks nobody. @NIGHTBRINGER, I'm sure there is a meme that perfectly encapsulates this within your arsenal. So I leave the floor to you.
