What are you doing today hobbywise?

Got about 57 Skink archers coming in the mail, well all need a paint strip but it will happily boost the collection.
Got a sculpture primed today, it was planned for yesterday but it's a thing mistakes are always spotted before priming.
Apophis miniature arrived in the mail also, just need to wait on the square base. Some Archers for comparison.

Shame I can't run this sort of idea for Armies on Parade, well can easily be done by removing 3rd party and keeping to a more sculpted from scratch. Well I know a piece that was fully from scratch years ago but I wonder whether such things are still allowed now. So kind of sticking with the Tyranids as a safe zone.

I was going to say you could build a coatl from a trygon, a magmadroth head, and a boatload of sculpting.

That is actually a great idea, I do have a magmadroth head laying about somewhere. Would need to source a Trygon down but can't do it at the moment, hopefully the bit shop I usually buy from gets it back in as I do need to order some spears from them.

Good luck!

Just about to post an update in my blog. I started building a chaos warrior standard bearer, who I have affectionately named Stu, after the manager at my favorite hobby shop in Tampa, Stuart.

It's my Torg: Eternity miniatures game. It's based off one of my favorite rpgs, a modern reworking of one of the first multi-genre rpgs from the late 80s-early 90s.

Painted the bases for 5 Minas Tirith warriors and a Knight of the White Tower.
Also finished painting 3 Black Dragon Easterlings for my brothers army.

Just in time for tonight's Game Night

Grrr, Imrahil

I'm not normally one for picking up toys from the dollar store for use in gaming or conversions but I happen to find a couple that looked interesting.

The plastic is of a softer quality then your normal sprues but it should take conversion fine and I figured what's the harm for a buck each?

actively worked on some business things that may indirectly give me access to a wider range of miniatures more easily.

Which rekindled an idea for some conversions.

Did second coat of grey drybrushing on my Bull Centaurs and concurrently started on the basing of all models.
