What are you doing today hobbywise?

I can name several forumites who would be very interested in this project @NIGHTBRINGER @Killer Angel @Lord-Marcus

I can tell the Egyptian themed project will be a highly voted one, many TK fans here (Including me). I actually have a few spares from them but not a lot.
Will be a slow one due to a lot that needs to be worked on but if it ever comes to reality I will defiantly post pictures.

Got an idea for some unused Seraphon I still have laying around, of course my mind always wanders and finds these ideas that come and go. Feeling more of a person that likes the ideas but doesn't get around to doing much.
One thing is having to go 3rd party for the bits so I won't be able to use them for any GW related thing, then I have another idea that can use up some GW spares. But I tend to prefer the first.
So it's either messing with an Egyptian themed Seraphon project or using some leftover shields from the SW Wulfen and stuff for another project theme. Or maybe both :bag:
Edit: Or maybe the Wulfen weapon/shield spares for the Beastmen but that means buying more Beastmen as the collection is small

Meanwhile I have primed some more Hormagaunts as I found them on the desk and forgot about them as they wasn't in the box.
Still got to work on painting birthday gifts and finish off and paint a sculpture for a deadline.
A lot of work but so slow for reasons.

Egyptian-themed Lizardmen would be particularly interesting. Perhaps Tomb King allies are a possible thing to consider? :woot:

More Beastmen is a good thing too. Might as well use all those wolfy bits you get from the Wulfen kit to really convert them into your own creation. Are you planning to use your Beastmen in AoS or Fantasy? Because if you’re aiming to use them in the latter then membership of the Coven of Lustrian Beastlords awaits!

More Tyranids are also welcome. The Hive Mind’s presence on this forum also needs to be expanded!

Yep, that's interesting, to say the least. :)

Possible chance to ally, sadly started collecting TK so late in the hobby so I only have Warphinx, named characters/heroes, Carrion and some Stalkers, some stuff could be hiding away but these lizards can fill some gaps, the old Skink models can make some nice archers and they are already kitted so less work.
Then I did find myself buying an Apophis on Etsy so some other non GW kits will be finding their way into the army/project.

Most of my Beastmen currently sit on square, being that I don't play as much as I used to so it really fits anything really yet I find myself missing Fantasy, maybe because of the colour choices in the books and all the rank building, until a model decides to topple down a hill. Hopefully Old World will fix that sense of missing. Then I don't get out much and my nearest store is a GW one.
I am actually using a chaos chariot to stick Gorthor on cause it felt he needed something that really shows him off. Aesthetic-wise it might stick out but I just like the Gorebeast on the chariot.

Trying not to lose all motivation.

Who was doing the battlefleet gothic stuff?
I was, and it's an unofficial Horus Heresy version.

Haven't done much with it this past week due to a week-long sail, but I did get a game in with my Salamanders fleet last weekend at the 2000pt range.

Scenario deployment kind of screwed me over. LOL

Hey, remember that Grav-Russ I was working on a couple years back?

I finally sorted out the turret issue.

Turned out I was being a loony and didn't think to use magnets at the time.

The Repulsor hull turret mount was just big enough to accommodate a 32mm base, onto which I mounted two stacked 5mm magnets in the center. As luck would also have it, the inner diameter of a 40mm base's underside matches that of the baneblade turret ring, so all I had to do was trim the ring to the turret's base, mount the 40mm base on the inside of the turret, and superglue another 5mm magnet in its center.

As for the rest of the baneblade kit the turret came from, I'm using it for a Stormblade kitbash.

I always like second-hand purchases, are you sure you won't use them in Fantasy? Because if you decide to do so then membership of the Coven of Lustrian Beastlords (CoLB) awaits!

Naw, I like the BoC in AoS. I've got piles of Orcs and Goblins minis that I'm collecting for 8th Ed/WFB/Old World whenever that releases.
