What are you doing today hobbywise?

Enjoyed some lovely weather this afternoon airbrushing the green on the rest of my Battlefleet Heresy Salamanders.

Behold, 2130 pts worth of ships:

6x Fireatorm Frigates
8x Sword Frigates
3x Lunar Cruisers
1x Dictator Cruiser-Carrier
1x Eclipse Battlecruiser
1x Dagon Grand Cruiser
1x Desolator Battleship

I'll probably end up going over the models with green glaze again at some point, seeing as the white I was using for zenithal highlighting is still pretty strong on some of them.

Returned to one of my fave model shops today, and bought another second-hand haul:

The foot and boar-mounted models from the 7th Edition Fantasy Orc Warboss kit (so pleased I found those given the kit's no longer in production - not the best sculpting but probably the first plastic character models GW ever made, so these guys are evolutionary giants, and I'm very pleased to have some Orc leaders at last to Waaagh! with), 10 multipart Orc Boyz (also OOP, planning to kitbash these into Arrer Boyz), 3 of the original plastic Fanatics (so that now all 3 of my Night Goblin units can take 3 Fanatics to play psychological tricks on my opponents), 20 25mm square bases and a heap of bitz I found in various boxes full of spares, all for £30. Perhaps I went a bit mad but I have no regrets in getting it all, they were all models I wanted for my Greenskin force.

Finished my Blood Bowl Nurgle Team "Come to Papa"
Working now on the Beast of Nurgle as my Rotspawn. A little big but hey....
These guys look incredible! Can't wait to see your Rotspawn! Have you gotten any games with the Nurgle team? I hear they're difficult to play, but once you know what you're doing and level them up a bit they're difficult to play against!

When I was residing in the UK a few fellow Aussies came over to attend the NAF World Cup in Europe (probably France or Germany - I can't remember)
Anyway they attended a NAF tournament my local club (The Chelmsford Bunker) was running. One of them gave me this lovely Ned Kelly Blood Bowl figure that had been a prize in a tournament back in Oz. I forgot I had him. Found him the other day and next step is to get some paint on him....NK2.jpg

This is awesome! Great find!

Got an idea for some unused Seraphon I still have laying around, of course my mind always wanders and finds these ideas that come and go. Feeling more of a person that likes the ideas but doesn't get around to doing much.
One thing is having to go 3rd party for the bits so I won't be able to use them for any GW related thing, then I have another idea that can use up some GW spares. But I tend to prefer the first.
So it's either messing with an Egyptian themed Seraphon project or using some leftover shields from the SW Wulfen and stuff for another project theme. Or maybe both :bag:
Edit: Or maybe the Wulfen weapon/shield spares for the Beastmen but that means buying more Beastmen as the collection is small

Meanwhile I have primed some more Hormagaunts as I found them on the desk and forgot about them as they wasn't in the box.
Still got to work on painting birthday gifts and finish off and paint a sculpture for a deadline.
A lot of work but so slow for reasons.
